About the PayAI x402 Facilitator

Who runs this service, what it does with money, and how to get in touch.

What this service is

This origin runs the PayAI x402 facilitator: the production service that verifies and settles x402 stablecoin payments on behalf of merchants and the agents that pay them. When a server answers a request with HTTP 402 Payment Required, an x402 client signs a payment, and this service checks that signature and moves the funds on-chain.

It settles on Solana, Base, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Sei, X Layer, and SKALE. On Solana it sponsors the transaction fee, so a payer needs only USDC and no SOL.

Who operates it

PayAI Network, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Use is governed by the terms of service; data handling is described in the privacy policy.

General enquiries, support, sales, and security reports: info@payai.network. Legal and privacy: legal@payai.network. Vulnerability disclosure details are in security.txt.

What it does not do

The facilitator never custodies merchant balances. A settlement moves funds directly from the payer to the address the merchant advertised in its payment requirements; the facilitator signs and broadcasts the transaction and, on Solana, pays the network fee.

It is not a payment processor for consumer checkout. No card payments, no fiat payouts, no bank transfers, no subscription billing.
